Alexander Morris filed a lawsuit Monday against Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren. He is claiming racial discrimination and other misconduct during a 2023 visit for chest pain and breathing problems. Morris says staff assumed he was mentally ill when he revealed his celebrity status.

Mark Fuhrman is now 72 and he retired from the LAPD in the 1990s. Fuhrman, who is white, was one of the first two police detectives sent to investigate the 1994 killings of Simpson’s ex-wife and her friend. Fuhrman was charged with perjury and pleaded no contest in 1996.
